This dataset contains records of the understory and overstory woody vegetation observed in thirty-eight plots in the forests of Nichols Arboretum as documented by Alan J. Tepley from 1998 to 1999. These data were collected as part of his master’s thesis entitled, “Landscape Ecosystems of the Nichols Arboretum” in the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and the Environment, (2001).
