Abstract

In 1981, we assessed the short-term impacts of cannon-netting and wing-marking on breeding ring-billed gulls (Larus delawarensis). Although netting and tagging are activities that may each have distinct effects on the birds, their separate impacts are often difficult to evaluate. This paper presents data on the combined effect of netting and wing-tagging.
