Zooplankton surveillance cruises were conducted in April, May, June, and July [1980] in Lake Huron including the North Channel and Georgian Bay. Eleven (May) to 30 (July) stations were investigated during each cruise. Zooplankton standing stock were characteristic of those of the more oligotrophic or meso-oligotrophic regions of the Great Lakes. Crustacean standing stocks were low. Rotifer standing stocks also were indicative of oligotrophic to meso-oligotrophic conditions. Crustaceans were the numerically dominant zooplankton in Lake Huron.
