Ecotoxicology of aquatic crustaceans

Project Abstract:
Many different anthropogenic compounds are introduced into the rivers and lakes surrounding places of human activity (farming, cities, factories). We are running a series of projects designed to understand the distribution of these compounds within rivers and lakes and their impacts on the behavior and physiology of aquatic organisms like the crayfish.
