The boundaries of lots are the historic planted area of different tree species. The total area of experimental plantations is 55 acres. Attribute table contains the information of the lot ID and history planting species. More information can be found in A Guide to Saginaw Forest 1961.

This dataset was originally created based on the digitization of the map in the above Guide by the UM Forests McIntire-Stennis project (Kathleen Bergen, PI). It was slightly modified and updated in 2017 to match the latest Saginaw Forest Boundary. All historic plantation information was kept. Data type: Polygon Shapefile
