Abstract | As study of the phycomycetous flora in the general vicinity of The University of Michigan Biological Station continues, many interesting and occasionally new fungi are encountered. New hosts and new localities are discovered which add to the constantly expanding picture of the microscopic flora of the waters and soils of the region. It is the object of this paper to summarize information which has been accumulated since the paper of Sparrow and Koch (1959). The usual methods of isolation of these fungi from their habitats as described in Sparrow (1960) were followed. |
