| Abstract | The purpose of this investigation was twofold. The first objective was to determine, if possible, roosting behavior of the population of little brown bats (Myotis lucifugus LeConte) at UMBS at Douglas Lake, in northern Michigan. The study related to this objective was conducted over a period of six consecutive years from 1948 through 1953. The second objective was to determine the influence of environmental factors on the time of evening flight. This investigation was conducted on an isolated summer colony of little brown bats that roosted in a house some six miles from the Biological Station. |
