Abstract

Pleasantview Swamp is set between high morainal hills; runoff from these hills drains into a basin of slight gradient, forming a soggy lowland, with seepage into the West Branch of the Maple River. Pleasantview Swamp is easily reached from UMBS on Douglas Lake.
