Abstract

The University of Michigan Biological Station has computed the Shoreline Development Factor (SDF) for all Emmet and Cheboygan County lakes, as part of our on-going Northern Michigan Environmental Research Program involving the water quality of local lakes. For example, the Shoreline Development Factor for Walloon Lake is 3.00, and the SDF rating of Mullett Lake is 1.60.
