Abstract | Areas covered over by buildings at the Biological Station of the University of Michigan for various periods of time have demonstrated that the longer an area is covered, the slower will be the natural revegetation, or, conversely, the shorter the time of coverage, the more quickly will the area be restored naturally to the appearance of the surroundings. Invasion of moss prolongs the restoration period. |
