Abstract | A species of Gypsophila L. not included in North American floras has become extensively naturalized in Presque Isle County, Michigan, as well as being locally established elsewhere in the Great Lakes region. Specimens from this region have generally been identified as G. acutifolia Stev. ex Spreng., and were reported as that species by Voss (1957 a, b). Discrepancies between these specimens and descriptions of G. acutifolia, however, have indicated the need for re-examination. |
