Abstract | The present study attempts to determine the overall per cent infection with M. oregonensis and M. chordeilesia in snails from the small brook and also to see if there is any relationship between size and sex of snail and infection with either of these trematodes. ...There may well be a relationship between the sex ratio observed in the snail population and the larval trematodes. The higher number of females to males in the study area probably affects the population dynamics of G. proxima. |
