Great Lakes Coastal Wetland Research and Restoration: Team Typha 2021
Project Abstract:
In summer 2021, our research group based out of Loyola University, Chicago's School of Environmental Sustainability will be bringing up a collection of undergraduates, graduate students, and researchers to accomplish many tasks on a wide variety of topics dealing with: Restoration of Cheboygan Marsh (Sustain our Great Lakes Grant) Restoration and research of Wild Rice in the St. Marys River (Circle of Flight) Monitoring and Control of invasive European Frog-bit (Michigan Invasive Species Grant Program) Long Term Vegetation Monitoring at several coastal marshes along the Straits of Mackinac
